As a young candidate, I can effectively support senior citizens by advocating for policies that expand access to affordable health care, housing, and reliable transit. On the ground, I can organize intergenerational, lead digital literacy workshops, and mobilize youth-led volunteer networks for home maintenance and grocery deliveries.

My Mission!
1. Advocate for Senior-Friendly Infrastructure
Accessibility & Safety: Support initiatives for clearly marked, accessible community spaces with ample seating, well-lit sidewalks, and longer crossing times at intersections.
Housing & Care Options: Back legislation that expands affordable housing, assisted living, and community-based support programs, allowing seniors to age in place comfortably.
2. Drive Intergenerational Engagement Programs
Tech Literacy: Spearhead community-led workshops or connect local students to teach seniors how to use smartphones, tablets, and video-conferencing software to stay connected with loved ones.
Volunteer Match Programs: Partner with programs like Students Care to pair young adults with older adults to reduce social isolation and loneliness in residential facilities.
3. Provide Direct, Grassroots Assistance
Daily Support: Assist with physical chores such as grocery shopping, yard work, snow shoveling, or picking up prescriptions.
Delivery Networks: Consider organizing a localized volunteer chapter inspired by Teens Helping Seniors to provide contactless delivery of essential necessities.
4. Improve Healthcare and Nutrition Access
Food Stability: Support local hunger-relief efforts, such as the programs run by Feeding America, which ensure elderly individuals in underserved communities receive essential meals.
Healthcare Navigation: Advocate for mobile health clinics and transportation services to make it easier for seniors to attend doctors' appointments.
