ABOUT ME

 Hello, I am Tatyiana Henry Daniel, a 22-year-old, proud to be the first and youngest African American woman to run for mayor in Palatka, Florida. I am dedicated, goal-driven, and committed to both personal and professional development. Throughout my educational journey,  at 16 during the summer of 2020, I embarked on my first job at Publix while tackling the hurdles presented by the COVID-19 pandemic. Prioritizing my safety and education, I  switched to virtual learning through Putnam Virtual School via FLVS. With unwavering discipline and determination, I graduated a year ahead of schedule, achieving an impressive 4.32 GPA and earning 21 academic credits.​​

 

I have consistently shown academic excellence, which earned me a feature on the front page of the local newspaper in Palatka. I was honored to be recognized as one of the Top 50 Scholars and received various accolades for my academic achievements. Additionally, I have earned certifications and awards, including the Microsoft Office Specialist certification and a Citizenship Award.

After graduating from high school, I sought to fulfill my desire to serve my country while also advancing my education by joining the United States Air Force. With an impressive ASVAB scores—71 in Administrative and 64 in Electronics—opened the door to various career options, leading her to choose the position of IT Client Systems Apprentice. Subsequently, she was presented with the chance to transition into the United States Space Force.

 

After coming back home, resumed my role at Publex while also managing her family’s business as a property management for a large affordable housing complex. Additionally, she is serveing as secretary on the board of a non-profit organization called Community Fresh Start, Inc., where she has contributed to bringing positive change to the community.
